White sage, with its Latin name Salvia apiana, is a sacred herb. Growing in the arid lands of California, it requires extra strength and resilience to thrive.
 It will be more powerful than the Sage in our gardens (Salvia Officinalis) which requires less effort to flourish.

 Its energy is "Yang," masculine. It anchors and stabilizes. It can be used with Sweet Oat, which, in its "Yin" energy, will bring balance and harmony.

 Its use:
 Energy cleansing of a person's aura.
 Clean and purify a space, an object.
 Work on anchoring.
 Burn herbs to honor, celebrate, make an offering.
 Open a ceremony, a space, before a ritual or a card draw.

 Burn the end of the stick, blow out the flame, and direct the smoke toward the person, place, or object, with the intention of purification. To better fan the smoke and direct the energy, you can use a smudging fan. Place the White Sage stick in a small bowl or shell to finish burning.

 Unlike a traditional incense stick, the plant bundle will take longer to burn and will extinguish itself. It will be used several times.

 Precautions for use:
 Keep out of reach of children. Do not leave burning unattended. Handle carefully to avoid the risk of burns. Ventilate the area well during and after use. Remove the label before burning the end of the stick.
